Michelle has managed Camilla House for a number of years now and she has a wealth of experience as a Home Manager and across the care sector.
Camilla House Care Home is a grade II listed building, that lies in a conservation area of Edinburgh.
Our long-standing and dedicated team provide dementia care, nursing care and short-term respite care breaks.
In the home’s recent Care Inspectorate report, Camilla House was rated Good in all of the areas inspected. Comments in the report included: “I and the family are delighted by the care that he is getting” and “top quality, could not ask for more”.
Situated in the Grange, a desirable area of the capital city of Scotland, the staff at the home spend a lot of time taking residents, who receive nursing care and dementia care, to some truly wonderful places nearby.

Our dementia care home in Edinburgh was refurbed to a beautiful standard in 2021. Our home is a grade II listed building with charm and original features. It is bright, airy, and a great place for our residents to live. With high ceilings and cornicing in our stunning lounge and dining area to our grand staircase and en-suite bedrooms, we really are proud of the home Camilla House is today. |

Within walking distance of the home, the local church has a dementia café, where we take residents to spend time with people from other nursing homes in the area. Camilla House is also very lucky to have the Hibernian Football Club nearby in Leith, which embraces us at a club it runs for people living with dementia. |
